By Andrew Hughes (Expedition Class editor- not on this excellent voyage but relaying reports as they come in.)
The team tweeted yesterday a photo of a little feathered friend that found a quiet place to rest. Sea birds are a major theme later in the year here at Expedition Class when we undertake the Search for the Shy Albatross expedition in western Bass Strait. I'll be kayaking around these remote islands to find out more about the Shy Albatross and other creatures that call this wild corner of the world home.
If you're a primary school student you'll be able to do lessons and help out during the expedition and if you're a Year 10 student you might even be able to join the expedition. Check out the Expedition Evolution assignment to see if you can win a spot!
The journey begins on August 17th with lessons appearing in the LEARN tab from May-July.
